Come and explore Yellowhead County campgrounds this camping season. Our seven campgrounds offer peaceful, quiet, family camping with a wide variety of activities for every age group. Campgrounds are open May to September.
County campgrounds are self registration parks and are patrolled daily and nightly by campground operators to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay.
Campground fees range from $10.00 - $15.00 per unit per night depending on the campground and feature outhouse facilities and hand pump water wells. Firewood is available for purchase at $5.00 per bundle sold by the Campground Operators. There is no fee for using Millers Lake Day-Use area or Shining Bank Day Use Area
New changes in 2006 include the addition of on site campground operators at Bear Lake and Shining Bank and a reservation system. Also this spring expanded sites/parking facilities will be completed at Bear Lake Campground.
