The County Enforcement Team is comprised of three full-time Community Peace Officers responsible for general enforcement, and one Administrative Assistant responsible for legislative and administrative duties.
Officers are sworn under the "Oaths of Office Act" and the "Peace Officer Act" to diligently, faithfully and to the best of their ability carry out the duties of an Enforcement Officer for Yellowhead County.
The Community Peace Officer is also appointed as a Fire Guardian for Yellowhead County, a Designated Inspected and Investigator under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act, and Delegated for Development Authority by Yellowhead County to enforce the Municipal Government Act.
