Extension Program

The Agricultural Service Board also provides a mechanism for information on technological change in the field of agriculture to be passed on to County residents. The Board approves courses, programs and demonstrations that will provide information and support to the agricultural community and/or rural residents. These programs may be run independently or in conjunction with Alberta Agriculture and any other interested businesses or societies wishing to co-sponsor such events.

The extension program also provides grants to organizations providing an information and skill building service to residents. Grants included funds directed to:
