How else does the County raise revenues
other than taxes?

The county raises additional revenues through Oil Well Drilling Taxes, Insurance Billings, Tax Certificates, Lease/Rental Fees, Transportation Invoices and other miscellaneous invoices

Billings for these receivables are undertaken monthly and unpaid accounts are levied at 1.5% penalty charge.

Tax certificates are provided for $20.00. If you want a certificate you will be required to provide the following information.

purchaser's name

requester's name and mailing address for billing purposes.

Oil well drilling taxes are regulated and based on a rate schedule set by the Province
