Yellowhead County residents depend on volunteer firefighters to defend their homes and families in case of emergency. Men and women of all ages commit their time and expertise to ensuring that everything possible in done to help out residents and visitors whenever there is a fire, vehicle collision or other emergency.
Yellowhead County maintains fire stations in:
- Brule
- Cadomin
- Robb
- Marlboro
- Peers
- Niton
- Wildwood
- Evansburg
We also partner with the municipalities of Edson and Hinton. Volunteers are trained in First Aid, firefighting and rescue techniques, as well as dealing with hazardous materials. This extensive training ensures not only the best rescue techniques possible, but also gives volunteers skills to use in their professional and personal lives.
New volunteers are always welcome at our fire stations throughout the county.
