The Infrastructure Services Department’s mission is to provide a high level of service to ratepayers by working as a cohesive team achieving common goals. The Infrastructure Service's team provides water, sewer, transportation and waste management services.

Water service is provided in the hamlets of Evansburg, Peers, Wildwood and Brule. A source of potable water is maintained at Marlboro and Cadomin. In the future, Infrastructure Services is studying the construction of a distribution system in Cadomin and Marlboro.
Sewer service is provided in the hamlets of Evansburg, Wildwood, Niton Junction, Peers, Robb, Cadomin and the subdivision of Pinedale Estates.
Infrastructure Services also provides Yellowhead County residents with 16 landfill/transfer sites. As well, a residential garbage pick-up service is provided to the residents in the hamlets of Evansburg and Wildwood.
The County maintains the Jasper-Hinton Airport. The airport is located 10km NW of Hinton. It is an unmanned airport with one maintenance staff that keeps the airport runways safe and clear of snow, ice and debris. The airport has a game fence which keeps the wildlife off the runway. There are phones at the airport for contacting taxi service, etc.
